Although I write and edit professionally at Adobe, I’m always happy to edit and review any project you may be working on. Whether that’s a paper, a book, a proposal, or even a résumé, I offer freelance editing services.
Because I do work full-time already, I can’t promise extra-speedy turnaround. I can’t promise you that I’ll have your 300-page novel edited in a week. But what I can promise you is my attention, devotion, and care as I comb through your carefully planned words and stories.
Which brings me to my last point — what services I offer.
I can offer editing, writing, and basic design services. I’ll break them down a bit below.
Editing
I offer three levels of editing: proofreading, copyediting, and substantive editing.
Proofreading is the most basic. If you’re confident in your manuscript and you just want a quick look-through to catch basic punctuation or spelling errors, this is your option.
Copyediting is a little more thorough. If you’d like me to look through every sentence and make sure modifiers are all in the right place, plus check for capitalization, spelling, punctuation, and grammar, this is your option.
Substantive editing is exactly what it sounds like — substantive. This is where I’ll get more in-depth and start making sure logic and story all works together. If you’re concerned with those things, then this is your option.
I can edit and review all sorts of projects, including résumés, essays, blog posts, articles, web pages, emails, and even novels.
Writing
Getting thoughts and ideas out onto paper can be a difficult, daunting task. If you’re struggling to verbalize those ideas, I may be able to help. I can also help ghostwrite articles, posts, and even sections of books if you desire. Please be aware that for writing new content, I do require the correct messaging and information you want in your piece. To streamline that process, I will provide you a short creative brief that you can fill out, which I will reference throughout the writing process.

Due to the variant nature of creative projects, I can’t post fixed prices or rates here. Please contact me for any pricing questions.
